Classes

Vigorous Flow Vinyasa

This class is steeped in Baron’s belief that you will find your authentic self by chiseling away what does not belong. Yoga is the ultimate journey into truth: truth starts in your body, on your mat. The physical challenge of this practice is built with intrinsic strength and empowers you to purposefully use and train your body the way you do in real life… bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and twisting. Using the time-honored wisdom of yoga, this practice is a dynamic combo of strength, sweat and spirituality. This class detoxifies, heals and electrifies. This accessible, challenging and flowing form of yoga will lead you to a state of transformation: it will sculpt, tone and hone the muscles of your body. Practitioners can expect dynamic asana, creative flows, and integrated Pranayama, creating a moving meditation that will tune and tone you from the inside out. This class is a therapeutic-style of yoga that promotes relaxation and revitalization of the body, mind and spirit. This class is designed to oxygenate, massage and energize your entire body while soothing and calming your nervous system. Whether you are looking to de-stress, energize or find balance, restorative yoga can be an effective way to reach your goals for overall wellness. $55 for entire 6 week series or $10 drop-in per class

Whether you are a runner, total gym rat, or weekend warrior, workouts that emphasis running, lifting, and swinging movements leave tell tale signs of tight hamstrings, quads and shoulders – the trifecta of inflexibility. Left alone this can lead to muscular imbalances, injuries and stalled results. Linda and Mimi have designed Yoga for Athletes, a practice specifically for active people. Yoga gives you the power to better understand your body. You will learn where your strengths and weaknesses, tightness and flexibility lives in your body. Bringing awareness to these areas can raise your game. Plus, it strengthens your core and builds a lean sculpted physique. The three phases to this class are dynamic poses that warm up your muscles and loosens your joints; passive holds that relax the body as you stretch your muscles deeper; and a restorative pose, a critical element that helps you recover and prepare for your next workout.
